You don't have to have everything figured out to begin.

You may be doing everything you're supposed to be doing and still feel uncertain about who you are, what you want, or why something doesn't quite feel right.

Growing up between Filipino and Western cultures, I became familiar with the experience of navigating different expectations around family, identity, faith, success, and what it means to live a meaningful life.

My own journey of understanding these influences sparked a deeper curiosity about how people come to know themselves, and what happens when the life that makes sense on paper doesn't quite feel like your own.

That curiosity eventually led me to psychotherapy. Today, I enjoy working with people who want a space to think deeply, understand themselves more clearly, and build a life that feels more aligned with who they are.

Grounded

I bring a calm, steady presence to our sessions and make space for you to slow things down without feeling pressured to have everything figured out.

Reflective

We'll look beyond what is happening to explore the patterns, experiences, relationships, and beliefs that may be shaping it.

You don't need to arrive with the answers. Sometimes therapy is where we begin finding the questions.

Collaborative

We’ll work together to understand what matters to you and find ways forward that feel genuinely your own.

As a second-generation Filipino-Canadian therapist, I'm particularly interested in the spaces where culture, family, identity, and personal values meet. Sometimes that means exploring expectations around achievement or family responsibility. Sometimes it's faith, masculinity, relationships, belonging, or the feeling that you're becoming someone different from the person others expected you to be.

Sharing a cultural background doesn't mean I'll assume I understand your experience. It simply means there may be parts of the conversation we can enter with a little more shared context.

Therapy in English or Taglish.

Coffee is a ritual

I'm a coffee and latte art enthusiast. It is not just caffeine for me. There's something satisfying about slowing down to make a good cup, and I'm always working on getting the pour just right.

Toronto raised

Toronto has always been home, and I still enjoy discovering new corners of the city. Growing up here gave me an appreciation for being surrounded by different cultures, communities, food, and ways of seeing the world.

Usually somewhere green

Nature walks are one of my favourite ways to slow down. I'm a fan of the kind where there isn't necessarily a destination, just some fresh air, somewhere green, and time to wander.

Around the table

I'm always up for a board game night, whether it's something strategic, competitive, or a game nobody fully understands until halfway through. For me, it's mostly about good company, plenty of laughs, and a little friendly competition.

On my bookshelf

Fantasy is my genre of choice. I love getting absorbed in a completely different world for a while. The bigger the world-building, the better. Recommendations are welcome.

Plant dad (PlanTito)

I share my space with 20+ plants and somehow continue finding room for more. Keeping all of them alive has become a hobby in itself.
