Your mind is always working. Even when you wish it wouldn't.
You replay conversations, think ahead, second-guess decisions, and try to prepare for what might go wrong. Therapy can help you understand what's keeping your mind on high alert—and find a different way to respond to it.
Virtual therapy for adults across Ontario.

what could go wrong before anything has happened.

decisions you already spent a long time making.

for every possible outcome so you won't be caught off guard.

someone's tone, message, silence, or change in behaviour.
-
because slowing down sometimes makes the thoughts louder.
You might look completely capable from the outside.
That doesn't mean it feels quiet on the inside.
Overthinking usually isn't happening for no reason.
Thinking things through can be useful. But when your mind has learned that being prepared, careful, or several steps ahead helps you feel safer, thinking can become difficult to switch off.
Prevent
“If I think through every possibility, maybe I can keep something from going wrong.”
Understand
“If I replay it enough, maybe I'll finally figure out what happened.”
Get it right
“If I make the right decision, maybe I won't have to regret it later.”
The goal of therapy isn't to make you stop thinking. It's to help you notice when thinking is helping and when it's keeping you stuck.

Meet Kurt
Kurt works with adults who spend a lot of time in their heads: thinking, anticipating, accommodating, and trying to figure out what the “right” thing to do is.
His approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and practical, helping you understand the patterns behind anxiety while finding ways to respond differently when your mind starts pulling you into familiar loops.
As a second-generation Filipino-Canadian with experience counselling students at York University, Kurt also understands how questions about family, expectations, identity, belonging, and becoming your own person can find their way into the things we overthink.

Less time inside the loop. More room for the rest of your life.
Therapy can be a place to understand the loop, loosen its grip, and make more room for the life happening outside of it.
