RISE UP 2026 is back!! 🇵🇭
RISE UP is back for 2026 with a free event dedicated to nurturing a community of Filipinx youth (ages 17-25), with an exciting lineup of workshops, panel discussions, and mentorships.
This year, RISE UP Supported by The Combine continues that legacy through mentorship, storytelling, culture, food, and community.
This year’s theme, TAHANAN (meaning home), reflects the heart of what RISE has always been: a home base for Filipinx-Canadians in the GTA to connect, grow, and show up authentically as themselves. Through mentorship, storytelling, culture, food, and community, TAHANAN is bringing generations together to celebrate the people, spaces, and experiences that shape us, ground us, and help us find our way back to each other.
I'm excited to share that I’ll be there this year as a mentor!
